So this past Saturday night we decided to wander out to one of our favorite places to eat,
Matera Caffe. Upon the arrival of a baby last September, it quickly became clear that we should not venture too far away from home for dinner. We began seeking out closer restaurants. This little place is about 10 minutes from home and it is yumm-o! Why didn't we try it sooner??? Well, let's just say...the location is not the most appealing (a not so nice kind of night club is beside it). Anyways, back to
the food, oh, the food. From the wood fired pizza to the sandwiches to the ribs to the coffee to the...you get the idea. Well, here is how this weekend outing went.
The Americano is a must try if you visit Matera. One of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had! Seriously!
And one more of this little guy just because his eyes are so dreamy and cheeks are so kissable! ;)
