An Edition of Family Photos

We have gotten smart, folks!  Sundays are one of the most hectic days for us and Easter Sunday is definitely no different.  It is actually even busier.  So with that in mind, we decided to take pictures in our Easter outfits on SATURDAY.  This was definitely the best idea we have had in awhile. You may have seen a few of the pictures if you follow Matt and/or I on IG, Twitter, or FB.  Here are a few of the the bonuses to taking them on Saturday: we were not rushed, we chose a couple locations in which to take the photos, and we skipped out on the crummy Easter weather that we had this year (wet, cloudy, and windy).  They are not the best quality, but for taking pictures of ourselves...well, we were pleased with the outcome! :)

About Easter

What's not to like about Easter?!  It's pretty much the B E S T (although I think say that about every holiday).  Matt, Jude, & I had such an enjoyable time throughout the holiday weekend.  The fact that we celebrated a risen Savior was reason enough to make it so wonderful.  Add to that some quality family time, getting to wear your Sunday best, eating good food, watching Easter egg hunts, beginning our Spring Break, and hopefully saying goodbye to winter...well, it was just spectacular!  This was Jude's 2nd time to hunt Easter eggs but we are still not too sure he understood the concept.  Even so, he did make out pretty well!  We took A LOT of pictures over the weekend (including some family pictures which we will share later this week).  Here are a few of our favorites!

An Edition of Family Photos

Saturday was a dream for spring-weather-lovers here in southern Ohio.  Sunday...not so much!  We went from 50 degrees and sunshine to 30 degrees and snow.  Knowing the forecast we took advantage of the nice weather and went out to lunch with Matt's dad and made a stop at Ault Park.  This park is simply beautiful and the v i e w of Cincy is just lovely.  We always make a point to stop there when we are in the area.  We took some family pics while we were there.  Jude's first birthday was the last time we took pictures of the three of us together, so we figured we were due for some.  We love pictures around here.  I mean, who doesn't?  So that being said...we want to do this family photo thing a lot more!  Stay tuned for more posts like the following! :)
